The call of the wild

Hal had no fight left in him.Besides, his hands was full with his sister, or his arms, rather ; while Buck was too near dead to be of further use in hauling the sled. A few minutes later they pulled out from the bank and down the river. Buck heard them go and raised his head to see. Pike was reading, Solker was at the wheel, and between were Joe and Teek. They were limping and staggering. Mercedes was riding the loaded sled. Hal guided at the gee-pole, and Charles stumbled along in the rear.

Cash leads charge

Of the men and women who played singles in the fourth round Sunday, all came from the Old World, with the accent on the eastern reaches of the continent. Geographical shifts in power are not uncommon in an individual sport where the emergence of a champion or two can quickly change its complexion.Consider the South American wave, when first Marcelo Rios of Chile and then Gustavo Kuerten of Brazil came to the fore. But the depth of the European presence at Roland Garros this year is unprecedented.

Victorious Yahoo CEO now will have to walk the talk

Yahoo CEO Jerry Yang wanted to prove his company is worth more than the $47,5 billion- the money that Microsoft demand to buy. It will be a hard challenge, Yang wants to show how little they think of Yahoo without a takeover bid on the table. Microsoft faced with resistance from Yang and the rest of Yahoo, they withdrew its offer over the weekend. After that, many analysts believe Yahoo's stock price, which had raised up 50 percent since Microsoft' s initial offer. In brief, Microsoft is still having plan to buy Yahoo .

If I have a chance to bring something from America to my country, I think I will bring some entertaining electricity machine like laptop, cell phone, Playstation or Wii, something like that because these things are really cheap in America. The second thing I want to bring is sourvenir of Seattle. And the final thing is my University degree, and this is the most important thing I want to bring to my country.

If I have 1 million dollars...

Hi everybody. What will you do if you have one million dollars ? In my opinion, I will buy a BMW car first because it has been my dream for a long time. Then I will go shopping, buy for myself some clothes. I think after that, I still have enough money to invite my friends to some restaurants, and have some wonderful meals, and travel to California or Los Angeles because I did not been there before. Maybe I will try to go on next summer ^^. I will save the remains for my study in the future and send for my parents. How about you ???

Welcome to my life !!!

What’s up! My name is D. My host dad gave me that name the first time I came here because he thought it is simple and easy to call. I come from Vietnam. My Vietnamese name is Pham Hoang Duc. I lived in Hochiminh city- the biggest city in VN and I very proud of that, I love my country very much.

Here is a little informations about myself. America is the second country which I visted beside Thailand. I had finished high school in VN in 2006 and played around for 1 year before I came here. I have studied English for 6 years since I was in Junior highschool but I did not have any chance to practice. That’s why I had so many problems when I came here because I could not understand anyone. My favourite habits are playing games, sports and reading novels. My favourite book is Harry Potter. I read all of 7 parts of it in Vietnamese. But I only had a chance to read part 1 again. That time in Eng in my first quarter because it’s the novel which I had to read in my reading class.

My major is businees but I do not like it. The reason why I study it is because of my parents'will. My intended major is medical because I want to become a doctor in the future. Thank you for reading my blog. ^^

How do you like Seattle ???

Hi everyone. It is my question and now I need to answer this. When I was in Vietnam I did not think I will like Seattle, because I was heard it is very cold and boring. In fact, when I came here, I realized that I like Seattle so much because it is very beautiful and quiet. First time I came here, I was very surprise because everybody in the city and my school are very friendly. They gave me a very good impression and made me feel like my hometown. In addition, I like Seattle because it is very different with my city in Vietnam. That's why I have had so many things to discover and enjoy them. For example, in my city, we don't have anyplace to go sightseeing as Seattle. I have gone to Space needle, Aki beach, National Park,... And my next plan is Discovery Park. My friend told me it will be a good place to relax when we tire or have stress.
